Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 that aired on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. Following her graduation of New York's top high school, she received her bachelor's in English degree at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. Her parents separated when she was 13 years older and they moved into East Meadow New York with her father.She appears alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. TV actress known for playing former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
